Keep your fingers crossed!

Friday we started Celia on some meds for her behavior issues. I am praying this works for her. It will really make her life much better!
We had a great busy weekend! We went to IKEA for the first time! Wow was that overwhelming but fun!!
Celia's been a little under the weather last night and today. I am praying it is just a short tummy bug!

Starting anew

Our old blog disappeared so I decided with all the new things in our lives, why not a new blog!?!

Celia and I now live in Fort Collins Colorado and we are LOVING it!!

There are so many more services for her here. The schools are equipped for her here. The teachers are equipped for her here. It is so much more progressive and diverse here that we rarely get stares and always get smiles and waves when Celia waves at people. She makes so many people smile everyday!!! She loves everyone and acts as if we are in a parade everywhere we go waving and saying hi,,hi,,hi to everyone!!

We are all set up with the school. They have done their evaluations and we will have her IEP on Oct. 24th to decide on her goals.

We have gotten her PCP here in FC to handle everyday things like ear infections and pneumonia.

We had an incredible appt at The Children's Hospital in the Special Care Clinic. They were so thorough and on top of things it was impressive. Came out feeling very production despite the list of "to-do's".

Now for the fun news,,,,we have been on many outings since being here!! We have been to the Larimer county fair,,a corn festival in Loveland,,some other festival I can't remember the name of,,many evenings at our friends house cooking out,,driving up into the mountains(ok so mommy doesn't like that one too much). Come to think of it when you are coming from a town of 300 just going to the store here is an awe inspiring adventure!!! 

Our duplex faces a walking/bike path and oh my does Celia love to watch people and dogs go by one after another!!!

Well lets hope that I can keep this blog up better than the last one ;)
